Psychological/Neuropsychological Evaluations

Dr. Sara Streufert is able to provide comprehensive psychological/neuropsychological evaluations for children, adolescents and young adults ages 6-21 years old. Psychological testing involves working with a licensed psychologist to conduct assessments and screenings to evaluate an individual’s cognitive and learning abilities, emotional functioning and behavior patterns to help determine any existing mental health or psychological conditions. The purpose of these tests is to form a diagnosis and build a treatment plan to help improve an individual’s overall wellbeing.

Diagnostic evaluations take place over several appointments and typically include a clinical interview, testing appointments, and information gathering from other sources (e.g., teachers, medical records). Once the evaluation is complete, a feedback appointment will be scheduled. At this time, Dr. Streufert will go over the results, provide recommendations, and answer questions with the individual/family.
